The City of Fredericton is planning a New Year’s Eve celebration in the downtown to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday. Volunteers are needed to help make it a success! Volunteers are needed for the following venues:
- Officers’ Square: The main venue will be in Officers’ Square, where there will be various bands in a lead up to the headliner band. This venue is anticipated to have the most people gathered, with music, activities and warming areas that serve cider or hot chocolate.
- Beaverbrook Art Gallery: The gallery will have music and is considered more of an adult venue.
- Fredericton Library: The library will have activities for kids.
- Wilmot Church: The church will have music and will target more of a youth-centered crowd.
Individuals are needed to help set up the day prior (Fri, 30 Dec) as well as the day of the event until just after midnight, approximately 0030 hr.
If you would like to volunteer to help make this event a success, please email Debbie Perry at Debbie.Perry@fredericton.ca.
