The UNB PACE Study is researching a hormone that is believed to be connected to improved health with exercise in youth at risk of Type 2 diabetes (T2D). The Study needs 15 youth aged 12-18 who are not regular exercisers, carry some extra body weight, and may be at risk of T2D. It also needs 15 youth who have a normal body weight. Youth volunteers will get exercise, learn about their health, and receive education about the physical activity opportunities in the community. If you would like more information about the study or think someone you know may be interested in participating, please contact Devin Blizzard LeBlanc or Brittany Rioux by email: pacestudy2016@unb.ca or by phone: 506-458-7034.
