Chimo Helpline

Chimo Helpline Inc. is a provincial crisis phone line that is available 24 hr a day, 365 days a year. The organization is seeking a Development Assistant volunteer to help the Development Officer with year-round management, growth, and operations. Tasks will support fund development, communications, marketing, event planning, and networking. Duties  include meeting with the Development Officer once per month, completing assigned tasks, and promoting the mission of Chimo.

The volunteer will ideally

  • Have experience or qualifications in fundraising, fund development, event management, communications, graphic design, sales, marketing, and/or any other relevant experiences or qualifications.
  • Commit to 4 hours per month.
  • Commit to other work as deemed necessary.

The volunteer will be evaluated every 6 months. At that time, contracts can be extended as needed.
