The Fredericton International Airport Authority is opening its runways for a 5k race, with all proceeds going to the Canadian Mental Health Association of NB. This isn’t just a race – bring your whole family to check out planes, helicopters, and fire trucks; watch planes land and take off; and, cheer you on as you race to the finish line!

Where: Fredericton International Airport, Lincoln

When: Race starts at 1315 hr, family activities between 1000-1500 hr

28 May: 1st Oromocto Scouts Annual Bottle Drive

Bottles, cans and juice boxes are welcome! All funds will support over 50 local youth involved with Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Venturers. These funds are used to lower the cost of events, assist with the No One Left Behind program, and to purchase equipment, and supplies. Please contact David Smith at 422-2000, ext. 3104 with any questions.

28 May: Fredericton Botanic Garden Spring Fair and Plant Sale

It begins! Come check out perennials, herbs, heirloom tomatoes, and young trees. There will be items donated by the Canadian Forest Service and area nurseries as well as materials from the Botanic Garden’s own beds. There will also be entertainment, educational displays, artists with garden related items for sale, a BBQ, and a raffle!

Bring your family and friends out to this amazing 5 km run to benefit Fredericton families who are in need of diapers. All diapers and proceeds raised will go to the Fredericton Food Bank and Linking Lives. Bring a case of diapers to win an awesome prize!
