Held the first Sun of each month between 1000-1400 hr, The Oromocto Market is run by the community FOR the community! Come see local crafts, check out vendors’ stalls, and eat waffles.

The Fredericton Boyce Farms Market, open every Sat between 0600-1300 hr, is recognized as one of Canada’s top 10 community markets and has been open for over 60 years! The Market provides ultra-fresh local produce, meats & seafood, and baked goods as well as cheeses, homemade jams, NB wines, artisan chocolates, and specialty coffees & beans. Vendors selling one-of-a-kind items, including pottery, jewelry, paintings, textiles and lawn sculptures, are on-site, and Food Alley has a range of fresh and ready-to eat meals, including breakfast and lunch!

Maple Syrup

Dumphries Maples invites you to visit their sugarbush to savour the sweet aroma of sap boiling down, taste the sticky goodness of taffy on snow, and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast in their beautiful cedar log cookhouse. Visitors can walk or snowshoe through the sugarbush to see sap dripping into buckets on the maples. The pancake house is open on the weekends year-round, cash only. Pottery

The Clay Cafe is a “paint-your-own pottery” studio designed for all age groups – a relaxed, café-like atmosphere for people to enjoy painting on pottery. The studio has over 300 kinds of pottery to paint…plates, bowls, mugs, teapots, vases, and lots of cool designs for kids. The studio is a bright and colourful environment for your creative experience, so you can spend quiet time alone, quality time with your family, or relaxing social time with friends.

Endeavours Art Shop provides classes in a range of mediums, such as screenprinting, watercolours, and drawing, for levels ranging from beginner to advanced.

Craft Classes

Milk and Honey Home is a working studio offering artisan paint supplies, classes and one-of-a-kind finds. It is a certified retailer for two great Canadian-made paint companies, Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint and FAT chalk style paint.

Souper Mondays

Join the Oromocto and Area Food and Clothing Bank for Souper Mondays! Have a soup and sandwich as well as a dessert and tea/coffee/water all FREE with a donation. Take-out is available!
